Saturday
Jag och Hanna startade dagen med att duktigt stanna hemma och plugga vid poolen istället för att följa med till stranden. Läste boken "Lyrics lyrics lyrics..and how to write them", lite halvfokuserat med skrikande barn som plaskade i poolen i bakgrunden.
Inledningen var så klockren:
"Facts of life: 1. Friends will always like your songs 2. Professionals are not your friend"
Annat lärorikt citat ur boken jag gillade:
"We must make sure that the message our script conveys is something an audience would like to hear. We must also make sure they understand the message. If we fail in either of these situations, we have an unsuccessful song. As we realistically understand what a song is and what it does, we are able to control its creation. We are not sitting under the apple tree waiting for Erato (alltså "the muse of poetry") to whisper in our ears. We will have moments of inspiration, certainly, but we will better understand which part of the creative process is inspiration, and which part is the hard work of the craft. When the lyric and the melody combine to communicate with the audience, that is a hit song!"
Skitnoterna gick det mindre bra med, var tvungen att låsa in mig i konferensrummet för att försöka fatta nåt..Gav det en timme i alla fall så nåt borde väl ha fastnat, även om poletten inte trillat ner riktigt än..Suck. Kan nån förklara det logiska med noter? Hatar när jag inte fattar lokigen med det jag ska ta in!
I brist på annat bestämde jag och Hanna för att exprimentera med mitt hår trots allt på eftermiddagen, så vi plockade fram blondin-hemma-färgningen och gav det ett försök. (Förlåt mamma)

Tadaaa - det blev jättefint!! Riktigt nöjd!
Sen blev det ett litet kvällsdopp i Jacuzzin med en kall Lemonade mist :)
